Description

Batman: Hush is considered one of the most significant Batman stories in comic book history. From October 2002 to September 2003, the twelve issues of the storyline were published in the monthly Batman series (issues #608–619) – written by Jeph Loeb and drawn by star artist Jim Lee, with colors by Alex Sinclair. With its cinematic art style, the series set new standards for the DC Universe and quickly became the most discussed Batman arc of the decade. The Joker plays one of the most dramatic roles of his comic book career: he seemingly shoots Batman’s childhood friend Thomas Elliot – triggering one of the most brutal Joker fight scenes in comic book history, in which Batman is only narrowly restrained from taking the final step. Medicom Toy now immortalizes this very Joker from Jim Lee’s masterful pen as an officially licensed Bearbrick in 400% scale.

The model’s design is a faithful homage to Jim Lee’s iconic interpretation of the Joker. The head depicts Batman’s archenemy with a chalk-white face, a manic, wide grin with bared teeth, blood-red lips, and glowing red eyes beneath sinister green eyebrows. Wild, spiky green hair menacingly frames the face and is fully rendered even on the back of the head. The body wears the classic purple suit of Batman’s most notorious adversary: orange cuffs peek out from underneath, while a deep green shirt and tie, along with a striking yellow-orange flower pin, complete the look. On the back of the torso, the Bat-symbol is subtly woven into the purple fabric—a silent reference to the duality that has always defined the relationship between Batman and the Joker.

Standing 28 cm tall, this Bearbrick is a collector’s item that appeals equally to die-hard DC fans, comic book art enthusiasts, and Bearbrick collectors. Anyone who wants to own the Joker in his ultimate Jim Lee interpretation – precise, expressive, and full of iconic detail – will find here a model that is more than just a toy: it’s a piece of comic book history in designer toy format.
