BE@RBRICK Storm Shadow [GI Joe] (400%)

Description

Storm Shadow is one of the most fascinating characters in the G.I. Joe universe. A master of ninja martial arts and a member of the infamous Arashikage clan, Thomas S. Arashikage has been caught between the Cobra and G.I. Joe forces since the early 1980s. His dual role as a loyal clan warrior and occasional Cobra agent makes him one of the most complex characters in the entire franchise. With the BE@RBRICK Storm Shadow [G.I. Joe] (400%), Medicom Toy brings this legendary ninja to life in the distinctive Bearbrick silhouette, creating a tribute that is sure to delight fans of both worlds.

The design precisely replicates Storm Shadow’s classic appearance. The entire body is pristine white, replicating the iconic ninja uniform that has defined the character since Hasbro’s first action figure in 1984. A white mask covers the lower part of the face, revealing only the determinedly narrowed eyes and the prominent forehead – an expression of uncompromising readiness for battle. A black bandolier runs diagonally across the chest and back, serving as a sword belt and providing a powerful contrast to the otherwise minimalist color scheme. The red cobra emblem, unmistakably signifying Storm Shadow’s affiliation with the enemy organization, is prominently displayed on the chest. Fine details such as the crisscrossed bandages on the wrists and lower legs, as well as subtle lines on the legs, underscore the care with which Medicom Toy has transferred the character to the Bearbrick form.

At 400% scale, this Bearbrick measures approximately 28 cm and impressively captures Storm Shadow’s presence. The proportions allow for a clear appreciation of the design details – from the masked expression to the Cobra logo – which are often lost in smaller sizes. For collectors of GI Joe memorabilia, this model represents a special addition, as Storm Shadow is one of the most sought-after characters in the franchise, and Bearbrick collaborations with Hasbro licenses are limited. Together with a potential Snake Eyes counterpart, this would create a spectacular duo of eternal rivals.

Whether as the centerpiece of a GI Joe collection, a decorative statement for fans of Japanese pop culture, or a gift for lovers of iconic 80s franchises – this Bearbrick convincingly combines nostalgia and modern collectible design. Those who appreciate Storm Shadow in its purist ninja aesthetic shouldn’t hesitate too long, as licensed Bearbricks from the GI Joe universe tend to sell out quickly.
