Who is Peko-chan?
Peko-chan is the mascot of Fujiya, best known for Milky sweets. She first appeared in 1950 as a papier-mâché shop figure, and has been a fixture of Japanese high streets ever since — the tongue-out expression is instantly recognisable across generations there.
That is the key to the collaboration. A Peko-chan Bearbrick is not a licensed cartoon tie-in; it is a piece of everyday Japanese visual culture applied to a collector object. Western buyers often discover the figures first and the history second.
What are the main Peko-chan Bearbrick types?
They fall into three groups: Milky product designs, traditional Japanese motifs, and crossovers with other brands.

Which Peko-chan Bearbricks are most collectable?
